Reverse mentoring: a fresh perspective on learning

In this session Aidan Matthews will be in conversation with Julian Patmore  Service Director for Digital & Customer Access – Peterborough City Council, who will share his experience of reverse mentoring and the valuable role it can play in learning and development at all levels of an organisation.

His career spans senior roles in Cambridgeshire County Council, Serco, and Hertfordshire County Council, where he led large-scale technology strategies, infrastructure projects, and operational services. 

As local government continues to adapt to emerging technologies like AI and digital platforms, leaders like Julian play a pivotal role in shaping the future of public service delivery.
