In this session Aidan Matthews will be in conversation with Julian Patmore  Service Director for Digital & Customer Access – Peterborough City Council, who will share his experience of reverse mentoring and the valuable role it can play in learning and development at all levels of an organisation.

With over 15 years of experience in IT and digital leadership, Julian has spearheaded initiatives that modernise public services and improve citizen engagement. His career spans senior roles in Cambridgeshire County CouncilSerco, and Hertfordshire County Council, where he led large-scale technology strategies, infrastructure projects, and operational services. 

As local government continues to adapt to emerging technologies like AI and digital platforms, leaders like Julian play a pivotal role in shaping the future of public service delivery.
