Agenda

  1. 10:00 Welcome & Introductions

Nadira and Kurt will open the meeting with Socitm’s aims for the next 12 months and vision for the future.

2026 is Socitm’s 40th anniversary year. While this is a milestone for us, and one we certainly would not have been able to reach without partners in the private sector, it is not a time to look back.

Together we continue to assert the vital role of digital, data and technology in shaping and supporting innovation and transformation in our local public services.

    Nadira Hussain, CEO, Socitm

Kurt Frary, Socitm President / Head of IT / Chief Technical Officer, Norfolk County Council

  2. 10:15 Working together

What is it really like working with Socitm and our members?

How we work with you mirrors our approach to working with members. Socitm creates situations to forge connections and lasting working relationships.

Mark and Simon will talk about their perspectives as existing and new partners. What stands out as different and worthwhile?

Get the inside story on working with Socitm and how this allowed them to build brand awareness within a distinct target audience.

Mark Gannon, Director of Client Solutions, Netcall
    Simon Monahan, Marketing Leader, Socura

  3. 10:30 What can the Institute do for you?

Steered by members and partners the Institute this year has been especially focused on AI, data, cyber security and social value. With support from partners we’ve held, for the first time, targeted round tables and briefings; they’ve developed into useful forums for honest and practical discussions with small and targeted audiences.

Everything is built on that foundation of forging connections and working relationships.

Not heard of the Socitm Institute?
It’s a go-to place for the local public services community to find and use research, learning and development, data-related intelligence, and many other essential resources. All designed to drive lasting change across the sector.

    Sam Smith, Institute Director, Socitm

  4. 10:50 The practical details you need for 2026

What you need to know about packages and events for next year. Aimie and Rachel will run through it all.

Socitm’s live events are designed to bring together a highly engaged audience with top-tier speakers from both the public and private sectors.

Find out how collaboration creates opportunities for you to elevate our events and establish your organisation throughout the public sector.

Aimie Francis, Head of Partnerships, Socitm
    Rachel Stronach, Events Manager, Socitm

  5. 11:10 Q&A

Ask questions throughout the meeting. We’ll be online to pick up questions in the chat or save them till the end. This final section of the meeting is an open forum to ask any questions to the team.
