  3. 11:10 Changing lives with the Leadership Academy

    Aidan Matthews, our Learning Programme Manager at the Leadership Academy with be in conversation with Liz Timoney. Topics on influencing, building positive relationships and appreciating diversity will be discussed with some useful tips shared along the way. As always, Aidan will want to do this in a focused and fun way.

    About Liz Timoney
    Liz is a learning and development professional dedicated to fostering trust, connection, and meaning in the workplace. With a background in physics and chemistry, Liz began her career at the Royal Bank of Scotland – transitioning through roles such as software trainer, project manager, and education business manager. Her passion for learning and development led her to become the Learning Programmes Director at QA, the UK’s largest tech training company.
    She has years of experience in leading teams, building trust, coaching, finding solutions solutions through masterclasses, giving keynotes and running live events. She collaborates with women’s and young professional networks to showcase in-house talent and accelerate career growth.
    Liz’s holistic approach to coaching enhances both professional performance and personal well-being, making her a transformative figure in the field.

  5. 11:55 How sports leaders can influence business success

    Pete has over 25 years senior experience in sports development. He has been a member of the ECB’s Participation and Growth Board, Non-Executive Director of the Lancashire Cricket Foundation, Chair of Lord’s Taverners Charitable Programmes and a Trustee of the England and Wales Cricket Trust, as well as being a former Head of Development for the ECB.

    He is currently Chief Executive Officer of the British American Football Association, and Chair of Trustees of Wembley National Stadium Trust. Other previous roles include Head of Participation for the Football Association.

    Pete is the ECB Board Lead for Welfare.
