Overview

Theme – Ethical, responsible and secure use of technologies and data + AGM

Our meetings can be face-to-face (with refreshments provided) or virtual (bring your own refreshments) and will be focused on Socitm’s policy themes. Within these themed meetings your regional committee is free to create an agenda that works best for you and your regional colleagues.   7. 15:20 Canon & Norfolk CC case study – Reset, Reform, Renew & Resilient & the benefits of attending Empowering Women Midlands 2023

    Norfolk County Council set itself ambitious goals to continue its development into a more sustainable and forward-thinking digital organisation.

    Part of this journey included a commitment to becoming carbon net zero by 2030, as well as a multifaceted digital transformation project with Canon that the Council has been making impressive progress on.

    We’re excited to introduce our interactive discussion session. This segment will be a dynamic and engaging opportunity for participants to share their insights and thoughts using interactive tools. We will use technology to capture all discussions, ensuring that every valuable idea is documented and can be shared after the event. You make it what it is!

    The LCIOC holds quarterly networking meetings where your Socitm President’s Team can discuss their and your concerns with other organisations, central government and partners. Sandra chaired her first meeting in April. A big topic of conversation, of course, was AI. Sandra will share with you her verbal minutes of the last meeting and what she has in mind for the next one.
