Socitm Advisory is delighted to announce a new appointment to its Executive Board.
Rachel Barker has now been appointed as Director of Service Excellence, having previously been the consultancy’s Head of Back Office Transformation.
Rachel takes the reins of this newly created role in Socitm Advisory with responsibility for ensuring they are supporting their customers in the best way, bringing innovation and expertise to enable them to deliver exceptional outcomes for citizens, communities and the environment. She brings with her extensive experience in leading major transformation programmes and teams across multiple sectors, including local and central government, utilities, transport and financial services.
During her two years with Socitm Advisory, Rachel has been a driving force in developing their change consulting and back office transformation capabilities, ensuring they provide genuinely impactful services to organisations navigating transformation, including cultural change, service redesign, leadership development and complex ERP Programmes. In her new role, she will focus on further expanding Socitm Advisory’s service offering and continuously improving how it interacts with customers and partners.
