Mentoring isn’t about having all the answers – often it’s about helping someone unlock their own. As a mentor, you guide people toward what they’re aiming to achieve, shine a light on what they do well, and help them build on their strengths. You create the space for them to imagine what ‘great’ looks like and take small steps that move them closer to it.
If you enjoy supporting others, asking thoughtful questions, and celebrating growth, mentoring is one of the most rewarding ways to make a real impact. By becoming a mentor, you don’t just help someone else succeed, you grow too, as a leader, a listener and as a part of our community.
To support our mentoring programme we’re running a couple of lunch and learn sessions: you’re welcome to come along to Skills for Mentees on Friday 1 May.
