Agenda

  1. 11:00 Welcome & Introductions

    Graham Jordan, Regional Secretary

  2. 11:05 Business Services - Operational resilience enabled by data

Alan Hill & John McAdams, Splunk

Operational resilience of your internal and citizen facing business services and processes is vital.  Never before have we been so reliant on technology to support our mission critical services and processes.  The ability to visualise an end-to-end service and rapidly understand where and why there is a problem is now possible.  Finding and reacting to those early warnings in real time will significantly help prevent a deterioration or failure of the service.  This session will show how it is possible to correlate diverse data sets and create that operational resilience.

  3. 11:35 Cyber Resilience: Towards more and better conversations

Graham Jordan, ISNorth East & Stuart Marshall, Cleveland Emergency Planning Unity

From 2018, central government brokered dialogue between the IT security and business resilience communities.  We were making progress but that stalled due to Brexit and Covid.  Now the dust is starting to settle on each of these, is it time to reinvigorate those conversations?  Do the lessons learned from high profile cyber-attacks that have occurred in the past couple of years give us an ‘in’ with senior business leaders in our organisations?  If so, what topics should we be discussing?

  4. 12:05 Group Discussion

    .

  5. 12:15 Elevator pitch

John Wilson, Ricoh | Cliff Wright, Rubrik | Alastair Kinnear, Salesforce

  6. 12:30 Socitm update

  7. 12:50 Branch Business & Close

    Graham Jordan, Regional Secretary
