Theme: Ethical and responsible use of tech and data

Our meetings can be face-to-face (with refreshments provided) or virtual (bring your own refreshments) and will be focused on Socitm’s policy themes. Within these themed meetings your regional committee is free to create an agenda that works best for you and your regional colleagues.     Jeni Smith, founder of NetKno, will be sharing valuable insights into the power of networking for knowledge. With almost 20 years’ experience in the field, and two years into her PhD researching networks, we’ll explore how network diversity can play a role in innovation and efficiency.

    The presentation will focus on the use of problem tree analysis, a tool that maps out the causes and effects of a problem, to better understand it. We will then examine the problem of attracting and retaining staff and build on possible solutions open to LRG.
