Welcome and Introduction
Director engagement David Ogden will welcome everyone and recap on the purpose of the meeting. This is to connect members and support the society’s vision of ‘by members for the members’.
Socitm latest:
Socitm CEO Nadira Hussain will update the group on Socitm’s strategic aims, including the society’s charitable ambitions.
Member voice:
Michelle Walker, business and engagement officer at Coventry City Council, will give her experience on making the most of a Socitm membership. Michelle will draw on her experience of gaining more value from the resources and communities of practice available from an organisational perspective as well as a personal one. This includes taking part in the Empowering Women programme.
Member feedback:
Director member services Dave Sanderson will discuss feedback from members as part of the renewal process. Dave will use highlights from conversations with different organisations to show the importance of getting active with membership to get the most out of it.
