AI at Work Week an organisational wide campaign to showcase the different aspects of AI across the organisation. We showed how AI is being used in practice, introduced our AI apprenticeship programme, shared practical examples, and provided clear guidance on approved tools.

Shaped by real council challenges, and informed by work underway at authorities such as Oldham, this approach treats SARs as part of a wider drive towards a single view of the resident, not a standalone compliance task. In this session we’ll show how councils can manage SARs around a clear resident journey, mapping key interaction points, ownership and SLOs from first contact through to response.
