We will welcome FutureGov founder Dominic Campbell as keynote speaker to our 2018 Midlands and East event, due to take place on 12 September at Delapré Abbey in Northampton.
Dominic will take an in-depth look at how a design-led approach to transformation in public services can provide better experiences for both employees and citizens.
Having spent five years in government, Dominic established FutureGov in 2008. Soon to be a team of more than 50, FutureGov supports digital and design-led transformation in public services in the UK, Australia and many places in between.
Most recently, Dominic has also become interim chief digital officer of Homes England, the national government agency facilitating the delivery of new homes across England.
We’re also lucky enough to have Mark Avery, director of health informatics at Cambridge University Health Partners, with us to discuss the benefits and challenges of joined-up care data. You’ll also have the chance to learn how health and care partners are working together to make sure that information flows seamlessly between different public bodies’ systems.
Not secured your place yet for 12 September? Don’t worry – there remain a few tickets left! All you need to do is to go here and start the quick online registration process. (And remember, if you are a Socitm Midlands or East member, your place will be free.)
