ICT shared services: Learning from success and failure - Guide 4 - Shared service types
February 19, 2018
This is the fourth in our series of guides offering new insights and tools to support local public service organisations and, in particular, their ICT leaders as they embrace more and deeper shared service arrangements.
Previous guides in the series examine the drivers currently shaping the scope of ICT shared services, and, based on that analysis, present a self-service tool for shared service readiness assessment.
This guide explores the types of shared services models that are emerging in practice. Later guides will review the current state of shared service initiatives, examine the special place of ICT and uncover the factors giving rise to success and failure.
