Submit your nomination for the 2024 Socitm Awards
Each year our team select a number of charities to support. By 2025, we aim to raise at least £5,000 per year for our chosen charities through a number of means, including sponsored cycle rides, silent auctions and gift donations.
In 2022 we are proud to be supporting YoungMinds as our chosen charity, however we have also done amazing fundraising work for other charities and been involved in initiatives across the UK.
Every colleague at Socitm and Socitm Advisory is given four paid days per year to get involved in volunteering work; whether that is through opportunities organised by us, or opportunities close to their hearts that they want to get involved with.
Already in 2022, a number of our team have used these volunteering days to help their local environments in litter picking initiatives, supported local charities by offering their expertise for free, and more.
We’re delighted to be supporting the improvement and sustainability of our environment with our Socitm Woodland initiative. We are working in partnership with The Heart of England Forest to help them expand and maintain woodland areas, and create habitats for wildlife.
Since 2021, we have planted over 500 trees in the Socitm Woodland and aim to be planting a consistent 500 trees per year by 2025.

Our team has chosen YoungMinds as their charity for 2022. We have already done some amazing work for the charity so far, and have much more planned in the coming months.
We’re helping The Heart of England Forest (HOEF) to reverse centuries of woodland decline, and create and conserve a 30,000 acre broadleaf forest for the benefit of the environment, wildlife and people. Our aim is to plant at least 500 trees per year in the Woodland.
We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Matthiola Madrid Football Club based in Warrington who support children from Reception to U18s, helping create an environment where everyone can express and enjoy themselves. Our sponsorship will help with their kit and travel expenses.
Our team also take part in the Giving Tree, opting to replace the gifts we would usually buy one another for special occasions with a donation of a gift to a child in refuge.
We are also proud to support Take Our Hand, a bereavement charity based in Norfolk and will be sponsoring their Bluebell Ball this year, raising money to support young people dealing with loss.
